The York girls volleyball team recorded a 28-26, 25-14 win over Glenbard North to win the Class 4A Addison Trail regional championship.
It was York’s 21st regional title and ninth under coach Patty Iverson.
The Dukes reached the final with a 25-4, 25-11 win over Maine West.
York faced West Suburban Conference Silver Division foe Lyons Township at home in the Class 4A York sectional semifinals earlier this week. If York won that match it played either Downers Grove North or Glenbard East on Halloween at home for the sectional title.
The winner of the York sectional heads to the Bartlett supersectional on Friday to face the winner of the Huntley sectional.
