For the 25th consecutive year, the Elmhurst Rotary Club will welcome area residents to a complimentary Thanksgiving dinner. The annual holiday party, co-hosted with the Diplomat West Banquet Hall, begins at 12 noon on November 22 and is open to the whole community.
“Celebrating our 25th year, we once again extend a special invitation to residents who may be alone or without another place to celebrate the holiday,” said Chairman Bill Sakash.
Elmhurst Rotarians, family members and community volunteers will serve guests a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
A jazz combo from York High school, under the direction of Mike Pavlik, will add a festive atmosphere for this joyful occasion. Magician Bob James will delight the youngsters with his clever tricks and cunning sleight-of-hand.
The Diplomat West Banquet Hall is located at 681 W. North Avenue just west of Rte. 83. For more information, call 630-833-3940.
