The IC Catholic Prep girls volleyball team recorded a pair of recent victories against Chicago Christian and Riverside-Brookfield.
In a 16-25, 26-24, 25-15 win over Chicago Christian, Sophie Hurt had 20 assists, two blocks, five kills, six digs and three aces. Maya Stovall had nine kills, one block and three aces. Jess Sobon had 12 kills. Kristen Brachmann had four kills. Claire Wagner had three kills and one block. Bella Leslie had 11 digs and three aces, while Olivia Palumbo had two kills and three blocks. Maddie Benson had five digs.
In a 29-27, 25-22 win over R-B, Hurt had 20 assists, two blocks, two kills, three digs and one ace. Stovall had 14 kills, nine digs and one ace. Sobon had six kills and four digs. Brachmann had one kill and one block. Wagner finished with three kills. Leslie had eight digs and one ace. Benson had six digs and two aces.
The two wins moved IC Catholic Prep to 13-7 on the season.
