The Willowbrook and Addison Trail girls volleyball teams squared off in District 88’s annual Go Pink match in Villa Park. The Sept. 11 battle between the two district rivals raised about $1,000 for the American Cancer Society. Baked goods, tickets for raffles and pink ribbons were available for sale. The Warriors wore pink jerseys and socks for the match. Willowbrook head coach Irene Mason is pictured celebrating after the Warriors won a point. The Warriors won the first game of the match, but the visiting Blazers rallied to earn a 25-27, 25-21, 25-19 victory.
