The Timothy Christian girls volleyball team started the 2018 season with a pair of wins.
In a 25-7, 25-13 non-conference win against Westmont, Heidi Westra finished with five kills, four assists and one ace. Campbell Marshall had 11 assists, two kills and two aces, while Abygale Ahn had seven digs and one assist. Greta Hoogstra had four kills, two blocks and one ace and Hannah Schuringa had four kills.
The Trojans also downed Wheaton Academy 25-23, 25-8 in a Metro Suburban Conference crossover contest. Westra had four kills, one block and three digs. Marshall had eight assists, two aces and one block. Ahn finished with four digs and one ace, while Hoogstra had three kills and two blocks and Mahler had three kills and one block.
