Area police departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.
Addison
Aug. 23
Police said Seyri Herrera-Bolivar, 21, of Addison, was arrested and processed for two failure to appear warrants in the 800 block of College at around 10:17 p.m. Herrera-Boliver posted bond and was issued new court dates.
Aug. 18
A 50-year-old Addison woman was charged with domestic battery in the 400 block of E. Comstock at around 12:44 a.m. Police said the suspect scratched two victims, and struck one victim numerous times on his chest, shoulders, abdomen and back, and threw a cup of water at him.
Aug. 17
Aaron Delvalle, 45, of Chicago, was charged with DUI near Villa and Fullerton at around 6:29 p.m.
Villa Park
Aug. 18
Retail theft was reported at an mobile phone store in the 1-100 block of E. North. Police said that three unknown suspects entered the business, and one of the suspects was able to remove an iPad2 from the security table sometime between 12:50 and 1:02 p.m. The suspect then left the store with the iPad without paying for it.
Aug. 17
Hector R. Rodriguez, 36, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft at a store at around 1:31 p.m. July 10. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued on Aug. 17.
A female juvenile from Rockford was charged with trespass to a vehicle, speeding, violation of a driver instructional permit, improper passing on the left and disobeying a stop sign near Ardmore and Washington at around 7:57 p.m.
Aug. 16
James Joseph, 61, of Villa Park, was charged with criminal trespass to real property and disorderly conduct Aug. 13. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued on Aug. 16.
Aug. 15
James Joseph, 61, of Villa Park, was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct in the 100 block of S. Villa at around 4:26 p.m.
Aug. 14
A 23-year-old Addison man was charged with violation of an order of protection and two counts of domestic battery near Holly and Bierman July 13. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued on Aug. 14.
Theft was reported at Skate Park between 5 and 5:05 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect stole a Vape Pen and tank of vaping liquid that was left unattended on the bleachers.
Aug. 12
Frederick A. Damico, 47, of Carol Stream, was charged with criminal damage to property and two counts of assault near Villa and Plymouth at around 11 a.m.
Aug. 9-Aug. 12
Retail theft was reported at a food store. Police said an unknown suspect removed bottles of liquor from the display shelf and left the store with the items without paying sometime between the above dates.
Aug. 10-Aug. 11
Criminal damage was reported at an auto repair business. Police said an unknown suspect threw a rock through a window on the overhead door sometime between 5:30 p.m. Aug. 10 and 6 a.m. Aug. 11.
