Outlook: This game will decide the West Suburban Conference Gold Division title. A Willowbrook win gives it the title outright, while a Downers South win forces a sharing of the title. Also of note, Downers Grove South must win this game to become playoff eligible at 5-4. Downers South’s only loss in conference was to Hinsdale South (31-17) at home. Willowbrook won 38-33 against Hinsdale South in Darien. Downers also has lost to Bolingbrook, Oak Park-River Forest and Downers Grove North. Those three teams were a combined 14-7 heading into Week 8.
