Dukes finish regular season with two away contests.

Fans of the York football team will have the opportunity to see it on home soil twice in the first three weeks of the 2017 season.
After opening the season on the road in Winnetka for a non-conference game against New Trier on Friday, Aug. 25, the Dukes will play two home games in a row. New Trier finished 8-3 last year and won the Central Suburban Conference South Division.
York hosts Addison Trail in a West Suburban Conference crossover game on Friday, Sept. 1, for the start of a two-year cycle with the Blazers. Addison Trail was 4-5 a year ago.
The Dukes then open WSC Silver Division play Friday, Sept. 8, at home against Lyons Township. The Lions went 8-3 in 2016.
York hits the road on Saturday, Sept. 16, when it travels to Glen Ellyn to face Glenbard West in a 1:30 p.m. contest. Glenbard West went 10-3 and advanced to the state semifinals a year ago.
York returns home in Week 5 to face defending WSC Silver champion Hinsdale Central on Friday, Sept. 22. Hinsdale finished 9-1 last year.
A week later, the Dukes renew their neighborhood rivalry with Willowbrook on Friday, Sept. 29 in Villa Park. The Warriors went 8-4 in 2016 and advanced to the state quarterfinals.
York hosts Oak Park-River Forest in its final regular-season home game on Friday, Oct. 6. The Huskies were 7-3 last season.
The Dukes, who went 2-7 last year, conclude the regular season with a pair of road games, first on Friday, Oct. 13 in Hillside against Proviso West and then on Friday, Oct. 20 at Downers Grove North. Proviso finished 1-8, while Downers North was 4-5 last year.
York’s schedule this season features games against six teams that made it to the state playoffs, including two that advanced to the third round or later. Willowbrook made it to the state quarterfinals, while Glenbard West made it to the state semifinals.
