May 22, 6:48 p.m. in the 1200 block of Brookwood Street, a complainant reported her ex-boyfriend took a set of car keys he refuses to return and stole a commercial car jack from her vehicle. The case is under investigation. BV17004979
May 19, 1:55 a.m. in the 700 block of E. Grand Ave., Jamal N. Ross, 22, of Elmhurst, was arrested for a controlled substance, resisting/obstructing an officer, obstructing identification and an in-state warrant. BV17004833
May 18, 12:19 p.m. in the 1-100 block of E. Belmont Ave., a complainant reported an unknown suspect made an unauthorized purchase using his credit card number. The case is under investigation. BV17004810
May 18, 4:22 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Center St., Michael D. Gosa Jr., 22, of Bellwood and Parris D. Tanner, 22, of Schiller Park, were issued village ordinance citations for possession of cannabis. BV17004818
