Although it was a little windy on Veterans Day this year, it was the perfect weather for flying flags, all of which were at “full attention” all through the day on November 11. In addition to this Avenue of Flags placed around the circle drive, there was a field of 101 flags at the entrance. Each flag represents a student of York who died in a war defending our freedom.
