The Business Ledger recognized The Center for Gifted with a business excellence award in the educational institutional, entity or program category. The Center for Gifted is a successful nonprofit organization providing year-round interactive programming to engage children with keen interests in academics. Along with nineteen other suburban businesses and organizations, the Center for Gifted was honored Wednesday, April 12 during the Daily Herald Business Ledger’s 27th Annual Awards for Business Excellence at Medinah Banquets in Addison. The honorees were nominated by their peers to recognize business achievement, growth and community involvement.
The Center for Gifted is currently accepting applications for this summer’s Elmhurst programs:
• Project 2017 for grades 6 to 12 at Elmhurst College with classes including STEM with SteAm: Rube’s Adventure and Survive Zombies and Other Emergencies
