The Bernardin Lecture brings prominent Catholic theologians and other speakers to campus to discuss faith-related issues. The series honors the late Cardinal Bernardin of the Chicago Archdiocese, who died in 1996, 10 days before he was scheduled to speak at Elmhurst University. The intercultural lectures and other diverse cultural programming at Elmhurst University support community engagement and lifelong learning, and prepare students to thrive as adaptive leaders.
