INFORMATION TAKEN FROM LOMBARD POLICE FILES
The Lombard Police Department recently reported the following arrests and citations. Persons charged with domestic battery are not named in order to protect the privacy of victims. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that subjects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17 or younger are not named.
Criminal damage, trespassing
Oct. 25
An officer in the 300 block of W. Roosevelt observed a Volvo truck with a broken window behind a building at 4:50 a.m. The owner of the truck said nothing was missing from the vehicle.
Oct. 23
Alexia Brunner, 22, of Bensenville, was charged with criminal damage to property at AutoZone, 125 E. Roosevelt, at 1:39 a.m.
Robert Picciuolo, 64, of Wheaton, was charged with criminal damage to property by fire in the 100 block of W. St. Charles at 11:30 p.m.
Domestic battery, disorderly conduct, domestic incident, dispute, disturbance
Oct. 27
An employee at TownePlace Suites, 455 E. 22nd, advised at 12:39 a.m. that she wanted the approximately 40 individuals who were smoking and causing a disturbance to leave the property; the individuals complied and left the area.
A complainant in the 300 block of S. Finley reported her grandsons had an argument with a male who may have had a gun, but all parties left the scene. An officer spoke with a witness, who advised his neighbors were arguing with a male who made a finger gun.
Oct. 26
Ryan L. Williams, 19, of Sugar Grove, was charged with public indecency and disorderly conduct at JCPenney, 175 Yorktown, at 6:57 p.m.
A complainant who was panhandling near E. Roosevelt and S. Highland reported a subject pushed her and kicked her off the intersection. An officer advised both parties that the intersection and median don’t belong to either of them. Both parties agreed to avoid further confrontation.
Oct. 23
A complainant in the 200 block of W. Eisenhower reported a terminated employee was on location taking things. The subject said he was taking his personal items from his desk. An officer advised the subject that he was trespassed from this location.
A 25-year-old Lombard man was charged with domestic battery in the 1200 block of Roosevelt.
Oct. 22
An officer responded to McDonald’s, 1 Yorktown, at 7:52 a.m. for a report of a male subject with a gun. An officer checked the area and attempted to contact the caller with no results.
DUI, transportation of open alcohol
Oct. 26
Sierra Peacock, 27, of Huntley, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, driving on the wrong side of the road and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident near S. Route 53 and W. St. Charles at 4:03 a.m.
Oct. 22
Janette Y. Morales, 22, of Chicago, was charged with DUI, speeding, open alcohol in a vehicle and no insurance in the 800 block of E. Roosevelt at 4:31 a.m.
Harassment, threats
Oct. 27
A complainant in the 200 block of S. Westmore-Meyers advised of threatening text messages she is receiving from a subject. An officer advised the complainant to block the subject.
Oct. 22
A complainant in the 800 block of W. Foxworth said he was being threatened by a subject. The subject eventually went to his own apartment and agreed not engage the complainant any further.
Identity theft, fraud
According to information provided by the Lombard Police Department, police reported four incidents of identity theft or fraud between Oct. 22 and Oct. 27.
Leaving the scene of an accident
Oct. 27
Juan Gomez Garcia, 27, of Glendale Heights, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license and no insurance in the 400 block of W. 22nd at 10:57 p.m.
Suspicious incident
Oct. 27
A complainant in the 1100 block of E. Highridge advised that approximately eight to nine months ago, his former roommate displayed a gun at him. The former roommate reportedly displayed the gun to get out of paying money he owed the complainant. The subject has since moved out.
Oct. 25
Two complainants in the 1000 block of S. Hammerschmidt wanted it documented that a subject and the subject’s daughter have been harassing them. An officer made contact with the subjects, who denied any harassment.
Oct. 22
A complainant in the 1100 block of S. Church reported at 5:48 p.m. that a subject took pictures of her three daughters at a park. The subject subsequently deleted the pictures from her phone. Deleting the pictures satisfied the complainant.
A caller advised of a male sleeping in the middle of the road near S. Park and Michael McGuire at 8:03 p.m. Contact was made with the subject, who denied laying in the middle of the road, and declined medical and police assistance.
Theft, burglary, attempted theft or burglary, forgery, deceptive practice, obstruction, robbery
Oct. 26
A vehicle belonging to a victim had its rear passenger side window broken, and the victim’s purse was taken from the vehicle at Madison Meadow Athletic Center, 500 E. Wilson, at 3:58 p.m.
A vehicle belonging to a victim had its front passenger side window broken. The victim’s purse and items were removed from the vehicle at Lombard Common park at 4:18 p.m.
Oct. 25
Bryant Skipper, 30, of Chicago, was charged with theft in the 300 block of S. Vance at 10:07 a.m.
A victim in the 1000 block of S. Jeffry said a female Hispanic subject stole a package from her front porch. The suspect left, possibly in a black Chevy Malibu with unknown registration.
An employee at Midwest Transit Equipment, 137-139 W. Eisenhower, reported the catalytic converters had been cut off two work vehicles sometime in the past five weeks. There are no cameras in the area.
A complainant in the 800 block of W. Foxworth advised he was missing a black Jordan shoe box with money in it after his property was removed from the residence by building maintenance and the DuPage County Sheriff.
Retail theft
The Lombard Police Department reported the following incidents of retail theft or attempted retail theft that took place in the village between Oct. 22 and Oct. 27: Target, 60 Yorktown, at 6:39 p.m. Oct. 23; and Dick’s Sporting Goods, 810 E. Butterfield, at 7:55 p.m. Oct. 25.

Jennifer Darnell, 40, of Lombard, was issued a citation for retail theft at JCPenney, 175 Yorktown, at 2:16 p.m.
Oct. 25
Jose Palacios Camacho, 39, of Savannah, Georgia, was charged with retail theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 810 E. Butterfield, at 4:07 p.m.
Oct. 23
Carol Perez-Sollano, 41, of Downers Grove, was issued a citation for retail theft at JCPenney, 175 Yorktown, at 3:15 p.m.
Warrant arrest
Oct. 27
Police said Cornelius Harris Jr., 23, of Downers Grove, was cited on the scene near E. Parkside and S. Stewart for traffic violations and released on pre-trial recognizance with new court dates for his failure to appear warrant out of DuPage County.
An employee at Casey’s, 2150 S. Highland, reported a female locked herself in the bathroom. The employee was concerned the female was overdosing. The Lombard Fire Department forced the door open and found the subject passed out. The subject was transported to a hospital, and the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office was notified due to her failure to appear warrant.
Oct. 26
Police said Miya E. Boswell, 34, of Louisville, Kentucky, was transported to the Lombard Police Department on an out of jurisdiction warrant at 6:57 p.m.
Police said Frank Koster, 58, of Lombard, was issued a citation in the 400 block of E. Central and released with a notice to appear.
Oct. 25
Police said Darron Millender, 18, of Fairview Heights, was arrested on an original warrant for theft at 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 24
Police said Alexis Gross, 26, of Lockport, was transported to the DuPage County Jail on a warrant in the 400 block of E. 22nd at 7:42 a.m.
Oct. 22
Police said Quinton Robinson, 31, of Chicago, was arrested on an original warrant for theft at 3:21 p.m.
