Playing its first game in 19 days, the Willowbrook softball team defeated Glenbard West 10-8 in Glen Ellyn on Saturday, April 9. Sophomore pitcher Karman Rowe (No. 42) fired a complete game to help the Warriors to the victory. Rowe allowed 11 hits and two earned runs. She struck out three batters and gave up two walks. Offensively, Rowe went 1-for-3 and drove in two runs. Willowbrook improved its overall season record to 3-0 with its win over the Hilltoppers. Several of the Warriors’ scheduled games in late March and early April were postponed because of poor weather.
