Willowbrook’s boys basketball team clinched a share of the West Suburban Gold Conference title with its 77-57 conference win over Addison Trail in Villa Park on Feb. 15. The victory over the Blazers gave the Warriors a final conference record of 10-2. The Warriors are pictured after their triumph over Addison Trail. Willowbrook and Proviso East share the 2021-22 conference title; both teams posted 10-2 records in West Suburban Gold play. The Warriors and Pirates split their conference series. Proviso East beat Willowbrook 82-74 in Maywood on Jan. 21. The Warriors defeated the Pirates 79-77 in Villa Park on Feb. 12. Willowbrook opens the IHSA post-season with a against York at the Class 4A Glenbard West Regional.
