Epic Seventh Day Adventist Church invites families to stop by and create a craft at its free “Art Space” family craft time on Saturdays from 1-3 p.m., at Yorktown Center, adjacent to the children’s play area. According to Ed Artiga, an Epic deacon, Yorktown is a local campus for the church’s Chicago location at 1850 N. Western Ave. Adding Art Space in the mall is a way of “creating bonds with the community,” the deacon emphasized.
