Ming Chwen Lee passed away peacefully and quietly in Elmhurst on May 8, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born on November 11, 1931.
Ming’s life was full of family, friends, travel, and bridge. Her love of travel took her to all seven continents and cruises on most of the oceans. Her most cherished memories were those made with friends and families on these trips. When not traveling, Ming would be found playing in bridge tournaments across the country where she would meet many people — some of whom would become her closest friends over the many years that she played.
Ming was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Lee. She was the beloved mother of Michael (Valerie) Lee, and grandmother of Samantha, Mitchell, and Meredith Lee.
The family will hold a private ceremony in Hawaii and plans to hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
