Willowbrook High School students Anna Seelbach (left) and Lily Hendrickson (right) sounded taps at the conclusion of Villa Park Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2801’s Memorial Day service on Monday, May 31. The brief morning ceremony took place at Cortesi Veterans Memorial Park. The observance honored the members of the United States military who died while serving their country. Seelbach recently finished her sophomore year at Willowbrook, while Hendrickson completed her junior year. Seelbach is a resident of Lombard. Hendrickson is a Villa Park resident.
