Mary Catherine “Kay” Revane, nee O’Donohue, age 98, longtime resident of Elmhurst and active parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish; former employee of Elmhurst College in the Library and Media Center; beloved wife of the late Thomas J; loving mother of Thomas, Brian (Sandra), Joseph, Kathleen (Donald) Gidcumb, Nancy (Michael) Brook, Mary Pat (Scott) Enslen and the late Dennis and Kevin; cherished grandmother of Heather (Todd) Dusek, Kevin (Melissa) Revane, Caitlin (Eric) Richmond, Neal (Courtney) Revane, Kara Gidcumb, Colleen (Dan) Henry, Brian Gidcumb, Adam (Abby) Brook, Maggie (RJ) Pavlacka, Samantha (Steven) Purcell, Mitch Enslen, Taylor (Heath) Norris and Jasman Ellis and great-grandmother of 12; dear sister of Sinon O’Donohue and the late Sr. Mary Simeon, Eileen Schroeder, Therese O’Leary, Genevieve Nessinger, Patricia Taylor, Rosemary O’Donohue and Madonna Gurgone and sister-in law of the late Joseph Revane, Jack Revane, Mary Lorraine Dalton and Patricia Joanne Lang; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Jan. 9, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 134 Arthur Street, Elmhurst. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside.
