On Friday, Oct. 16, Tritown YMCA held a “drive-through” Oktoberfest fundraiser outside of Willowbrook High School in Villa Park. For $15, or an optional “round-up” to $25, donors could choose pork chops and/or brats, plus sides. Each donation can provide nearly a week’s worth of groceries for an area family in need. Tritown YMCA Executive Director Sarah O’Donnell and her husband, Brian, are pictured helping a customer with a dinner order. The Y’s goal is to raise $10,200 to bring a mobile pantry to the community each month for the next year, in partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
