As of 11 a.m. on Monday, July 6, there were 9,360 total cases among DuPage County residents, including 472 deaths. Since Saturday, there were 45 new cases and one death of a person with COVID-19 infection reported. The death was a female in her 80s.

At press time, the DuPage Department of Health reported the following number of COVID-19 cases in our readership communities as follows: Addison 840, Bensenville 541, Elmhurst 351, Lombard 428, Oakbrook Terrace 32, Villa Park 266, Wood Dale 236.
And now for the good news…
Since March 24, 409 patients have been discharged from Elmhurst Hospital following treatment for confirmed cases of COVID-19.
