As of 11 a.m. on Monday, June 29, there were 8,996 total cases among DuPage County residents, including 465 deaths. Since Saturday, there were 52 new cases and two deaths of persons with COVID-19 infection reported:
One male in his 70s;
One female in her 80s.

At press time, the DuPage Department of Health reported the following number of COVID-19 cases in our readership communities as follows: Addison 830, Bensenville 529, Elmhurst 300, Lombard 403, Oakbrook Terrace 32, Villa Park 246, Wood Dale 227.
And now for the good news…
Since March 24, 397 patients have been discharged from Elmhurst Hospital following treatment for confirmed cases of COVID-19.
