As of 11 a.m. on Monday, June 22, there were 8,716 total cases among DuPage County residents, including 445 deaths. Since Sunday, there were 32 new cases including one death in persons with COVID-19 infection reported. The death was a female in her 100s.

At press time, the DuPage Department of Health reported the following number of COVID-19 cases in our readership communities as follows: Addison 812, Bensenville 523, Elmhurst 274, Lombard 387, Oakbrook Terrace 30, Villa Park 235, Wood Dale 222.
And now for the good news…
Since March 24, 391 patients have been discharged from Elmhurst Hospital following treatment for confirmed cases of COVID-19.
