Joan C. Santana, of Northlake, passed away on May 18, 2020, at the age of 64. Joan was a successful Human Resources Director for medical and light industry companies, a financial services Regional Vice-President, performing arts enthusiast, and two-time gold medal winner Sweet Adelines World Champion with the Melodeers of Northbrook, IL. Joan was an avid dog lover and is survived by her fur “children,” Molly, Maggie, and Mr. Magoo. She was the beloved wife of Daniel J. Santana, Esq.; loved mother of her two daughters, Katie (Jason) Dilbeck and the late Carolynn Hladilek (2017); cherished grandmother of Aidan Dilbeck; daughter of Anthony (Laura) Catalano and the late Betty Nicholls Catalano (1996); sister of Patty (Don) Exline and the late Carole Ryan (2016) and aunt of Debbie Kemp.
A private, family only service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 followed by her Interment at Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Northlake. A public memorial service will be held in the near future.
