Elmhurst School District 205 held a recognition program to honor its Dukes of Distinction for 2019. Launched in 2013, the York Distinguished Alumni Program was designed to recognize and honor York High School alumni who have distinguished themselves through significant and/or extraordinary accomplishments, service and an outstanding contribution to society.
This year’s “Dukes of Distinction” took place on Thursday, Nov. 7, beginning with a reception, followed by a recognition program at 7 p.m. in the York Commons. The following day, the honored Dukes visited classrooms and talked with students in both large and small group settings.
