The public is invited to purchase a pink “Firefighters for a Cure” T-shirt to help Lombard firefighters raise funds again this year to benefit the Bhorade Cancer Center at Good Samaritan Hospital. The annual fundraiser coincides with October as Breast Cancer Awareness month. The T-shirts may be purchased for $15 by ordering them from firefighter/paramedic Bob Hopper by email at [email protected], or by calling 708-769-6102. Orders must be placed by Aug. 31.
