A special historic photograph was made Aug. 1 by photographer Doug White during the celebration of Lombard’s sesquicentennial anniversary at the Lombard Historical Society Victorian Cottage. During the celebration’s ice cream social event, attendees were invited to gather on the front porch and lawn of the cottage to be included in the photo (pictured above). It will join other items to be sealed in the 150th Anniversary Time Capsule that will be opened in 2069, during the Village of Lombard’s bicentennial.
