Funeral service Saturday
Jack W. Thoele, of Elmhurst, passed away recently at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Ann nee Fannon; loving father of John (Regina) Thoele and Jane (Dan) Pfeiffer; cherished grandfather of Andrew and Maggie Thoele and Molly and Mitchell Pfeiffer. Jack’s family came first of course, but next to them he always loved the young people who grew up in his neighborhood as well as all those he taught during his 30-year tenure with the Bensenville school system. Anyone who knew Jack knew him to be an avid sportsman and that his heart always belonged in the beautiful woods of Northern Wisconsin. Memorial visitation at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 235 S. Kenilworth, Elmhurst from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, Memorials will be appreciated for the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2211 North Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707-3392; or First Congregational United Church of Christ.
