Area police departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Persons charged with domestic battery are not named in order to protect the privacy of victims. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.
Addison
April 10
Police said Mario A. Martinez-Enriquez, 25, of Glendale Heights, was transported from the Glendale Heights Police Department to the Addison Police Department to process Martinez-Enriquez on an original warrant out of the Addison Police Department for criminal damage to property at around 12:15 a.m.
Abel Reveles, 32, of Addison, was charged with violation of an order of protection in the 100 block of Lorraine Avenue at around 8:22 p.m.
April 9
James M. Bergschneider, 55, of Elmhurst, was charged with DUI, driving while license revoked and no headlights in the 500 block of W. Lake at around 12:54 a.m.
April 6
Jesus A. Maldonado, 24, of Addison, was charged with aggravated DUI, DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to give aid or information, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving on a sidewalk subsequent to a traffic accident in the 500 block of Stevens Drive at 5:30 a.m.
Villa Park
March 28-April 6
Criminal damage was reported in the 100 block of E. Maple. Police said a homeowner returned home and found three window screens had been damaged sometime between the above dates.
April 5
Thomas Waldorf, 18, of Villa Park, was issued a local adjunction for possession of cannabis at Willowbrook High School at around 10:30 a.m.
April 4
Daisy S. Carrisal, 23, of Lombard, was charged with DUI near Roosevelt and Michigan at around 1:19 a.m.
April 3
Ciara V. Johnson, 23, of Villa Park, was charged with two counts of identity theft in the 600 block of W. James on Sept. 15, 2018. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued April 3.
April 2
Khalid Naseem, 56, of Villa Park, was charged with reckless driving near Mission and Terrace at around 1:05 p.m.
April 1
Daniel M. Thomas, 27, of Villa Park, was issued a local adjunction for possession of cannabis near Addison and Vermont at around 3:03 p.m.
Damir Vasiljkovic, 37, of Schaumburg, was charged with violation of an order of protection in the 300 block of E. Terry on March 24. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued April 1.
March 31
Marnisha J. Medlock, 25, of Hillside, was charged with battery in the 100 block of W. Roosevelt at around 5:42 p.m.
March 16
Double D. Salon, in the 300 block of E. Kenilworth, received local adjunctions for unlawfully allowing person(s) under 21 on the premises without a parent or guardian (three counts), allowing premises to become a nuisance-battery, and allowing the premises to become a nuisance-mob action at around 11:57 p.m.
March 15
A female juvenile from Villa Park received a local adjunction for theft of lost or mislaid property at Willowbrook High School at around 11:15 a.m.
