Rose “Rosie” Susann Nelson, nee Skorepa, of Elmhurst, formerly of Chicago and Berwyn, passed away recently at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Vernon H. Nelson, longtime owner of Nelson Appliance Service in Elmhurst; loving mother of Phyllis (Thomas) Taras and Judith Nelson; proud grandmother of Rebecca and the late Todd Taras; dear sister of Martha (the late Edward) Karlovic and the late Jean (the late Albert) Pocius. Rose was a member of the Elmhurst Artist Guild and loved painting pictures and was also fluent in the Czechoslovakian language. Private services were held with interment at Mount Emblem Cemetery.
