Dog park membership registration opens this Saturday, May 17

Elmhurst Park District’s Canine Corner Dog Park is a brand-new, exciting space for Elmhurst residents and their furry companions to enjoy off-leash fun in a safe and friendly environment. Located at 0S761 Old York Road, the dog park will have separate areas for large and small dogs, plus plenty of engaging features, including a dog splash pad, agility course, natural hill and tunnel. Opening day at Canine Corner is June 16.

Memberships will be required to use the dog park. A signed waiver and DuPage County Rabies Tag number will be required. Fee for the first dog is $70 residents/$170 non-residents. Fee for additional dogs (maximum of 4 dogs per household) is $35 residents/$135 non-residents.

Membership registration opens Saturday, May 17, at 8 a.m. at epd.org or in person at the Wagner Community Center (615 West Ave.) or Kies Recreation Center (155 E. St. Charles Road).

Spots may be limited. If demand exceeds space, a lottery will determine membership, with waitlist spots assigned accordingly. Those with questions about dog park memberships should call (630) 993-8900.
