William J Kulpaka, known fondly as Billy, has unexpectedly passed away at the age of 53 in Elmhurst Illinois. William was a distinguished individual who devoted 35 years of his life to the family business Elmhurst Firestone. His commitment to his career was unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

Those who knew him often felt as though he was a part of their extended family, a testament to his loving, caring, and friendly nature. William’s presence brightened the lives of those around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In his leisure time, William enjoyed immersing himself in golf, music and spending quality time with friends. Billy could often be found on the golf course pursuing his love for the game. His enthusiasm for golf not only brought him joy but also created lasting memories with friends and colleagues.  Member of Itasca and River Forest Country Clubs as well as a lifelong member at Ocean Reef Club Key Largo.

Beloved son of Thaddeus (the late Dorothy) loving brother of Kerry(Cathy), Karen Kulpaka, LuAnn Dockery, Michael(Anne) and the late Robert(Janelle) and Dennis Kulpaka. Cherished uncle of Krissie, Kathy, Teresa, Hannah, Carly, Holli, Robert John (BJ). Great uncle and friend to many. Endeared to his Goddaughter Holli Kulpaka.

Billy was a tissue donor to Gift Of Hope that will help many others in years to come.

A visitation service to honor and celebrate the life of William J Kulpaka will be held on July 9, 2024, at Visitation Catholic Church 779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Visitation begins at 9 am, mass at 10 am.  Interment to follow at Mount Emblem Cemetery 520 E Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126.

The service will provide an opportunity for all who knew William to come together, pay their respects, and share cherished memories of a remarkable individual who touched so many lives. William’s legacy will endure through the impact he had on those around him and the lasting memories he created. He will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for the kindness and warmth he brought into the world. May his soul rest in peace while his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
