Marjorie Patterson Barger, age 84, passed away January 3rd, 2024.
Marjorie graduated from Elmhurst University, was a dedicated teacher of 25 years, and a member of the AAUW.
Born January 6th, 1939 in Johnston City, IL to the late R.C. and the late Vivian (nee Higgerson) Patterson.
Beloved wife of the late Terry R. Barger of 32 years.
Loving mother of Richard T. Barger and Lori Barger Catalano.
Adored grandmother of Sarah (Michael Pennett) Catalano, Rachel (Cole Hofmann) Barger-Hofmann, Emily Catalano, and Marjorie Catalano.
Dearest aunt of Clinton (Vickie), Steven (Lorri), David (Lynn) Patterson, and great aunt of many.
A visitation was held on Friday, January 5th, 2024 at Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – The Ahlgrim Chapel, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst, IL, 60126.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 125 W. Church Street, Elmhurst, IL, 60126.
