John (61) born May 28, 1962, died October 17, 2023, in Alva, FL, formerly of Oswego, Illinois, with his family at his side. John was the beloved husband and best friend of Lori (nee Petersen) for 36 years. Dad of Kellie (Cal) Wagner and Kyle. Best Grandpa of Beckham and Maddox Wagner.
Son of William and Rosaleen (nee Donlin) O’Connor; brother of Jim (Mary), Nancy (Jim) Burke, Rosaleen (Jack) Tully, Michael, Mary Frances (Rick) Fowich, Joan (Jay) Fox. Son-in-law of Howard and Donna Petersen of Sycamore; brother-in-law of Jeff. Uncle of 16 and Great Uncle of 3.
John was a graduate of ICHS. A Vice President of Operations of several local golf courses for over 30 years; his favorite, Settlers Hill Golf Course, Batavia, IL.
