At the City Council meeting held on Monday, Nov. 6 was a big night for the Elmhurst Fire Department. Two new firefighters Cymon Wind and Nick Holbrook took the oath of office. In addition, firefighter Drew Scarlett was promoted to Lieutenant, Bill Oeflling was promoted from Lieutenant to Battalion Chief, and Battalion Chief Steve Reynolds was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief.
