The City’s contractor is currently replacing approximately 50 feet of broken main and anticipate to have the repair complete today. Flushing of the boil order area (map) is complete and coliform sampling is currently underway.
Samples will be delivered to the lab by 5pm this evening. Nearly 100 coliform samples are being collected based on the feet of water main affected. Precautionary Boil Order protocols can be found here. Under this order, water for consumption should be boiled. Water can still be used to bathe and clean.
