William Penn Polen—December 1, 1928-February 28, 2023. Lived 60 years in Lombard, with his beloved wife Shirley of 66 years. He enjoyed woodworking, history, traveling, the computer, telling a good joke, and spending time with his family and friends.
Past Master of Laurel Masonic Lodge AF&AM, Member of Scottish Rite and Medinah Shriners and Past Patron Order of the Eastern Star. Devout member of Holy Trinity Church.
Survived by his wife Shirley, Children – Dean (deceased), Dawn (Jeff Hughes), Duane, Dale, Daneen (Doug Cady), Harry Therwanger (Ebon). Grandchildren – Kyle, Shawn, Makenna, Cullen, Payton & Madison. Uncle to Chet Mall (Rosemary).
Memorial Service Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Holy Trinity Lutheran St., Lombard (10:30 Masonic Ceremony, 11:00 Church Service).
