PATRICK J. DESANTIS JR.
Patrick J. DeSantis, Jr., age 74, of Lombard, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 5, 2022.
Patrick was the loving husband of Barbara, née Diamond; beloved father of Patrick III (Julie) and Theresa (Anthony) Trimarco; cherished grandfather of August and June; dear son of the late Patrick, Sr., and the late Rita DeSantis, née Wilson; caring brother of Mark; adored brother-in-law of Michael (Mary) Millett, Bill (Sharon) Diamond, John Diamond and the late Peter Diamond; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and close family friend of the Eber family.
Patrick was the proud owner of Lou’s Auto Body in Villa Park, and a proud Army Veteran. Patrick was a graduate of Visitation grammar school and was a member of the Class of ’66 at Fenwick High School in Oak Park.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, September 16, from 3-8 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1025 E. Madison St., Lombard. Private Interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101; and Wellness House, 131 N. County Line Road, Hinsdale, IL 60521, would be appreciated.

KENNETH E. SPOO
Kenneth E. Spoo, 89, surrounded by his family, passed away Sept. 8, 2022, in Lombard, Ill.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 23, from 9-10 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln, Lombard, Ill., with a church service following at 10 a.m. The family will then proceed to Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace for an interment service immediately after.
