Three Lombard residents were given a Citizens Lifesaving Award at the Lombard Village Board meeting Thursday, June 16, for their lifesaving efforts on June 1, when they performed CPR on fellow Jewel grocery store customer Richard Kassal until first responders arrived. Ironically, all three are health care professionals.
