• On behalf of UCCA, a Taste of the Town ‘Eat & Earn’ event to benefit District 205 Schools will be at Roberto’s Ristorante.

• From 6:30-8:30 p.m., enjoy the sounds of the band Lake Effect at Wild Meadows Park by the Prairie Path on Spring Road. Sponsored by the Spring Road Business Association.

Friday, May 27

On behalf of UCCA, a Taste of the Town ‘Eat & Earn’ event to benefit District 205 Schools will be at Pilot Pete’s, 20%, Elmhurst Metra Station, 128 W. 1st St.

Monday, May 30

Led by Grand Marshal Robert Fonzino, some 75 entries will march in Elmhurst’s 104th annual Memorial Day Parade through downtown Elmhurst, stepping off at 9:30 a.m. The parade will end near the Veterans Memorial in Wilder Park, where a Memorial Day military ceremony will be held.

Tuesday, May 31

On behalf of UCCA, a Taste of the Town ‘Eat & Earn’ event to benefit District 205 Schools will be at Francesca’s Amici.

 

Tuesday, June 28

General Primary Election takes place. Early voting is available at the DuPage Fairgrounds, as of May 19. Beginning June 13, 22 more Early Voting sites will be open.

Elmhurst History Museum

Ongoing programs:

• By All Accounts: The Story of Elmhurst

Experience local history through an award-winning exhibit about how the City of Elmhurst grew and developed over the years, including a history of the Glos Mansion and family. Elmhurst History Museum, 120 E. Park Ave., Elmhurst.

• The Elmhurst History Museum at 120 E. Park Ave. in downtown Elmhurst, will use an archaeological lens to gain a deeper understanding of the vibrant Native cultures and communities of the earliest inhabitants in their latest exhibit, People of the Prairie: 12,000 Years in DuPage County. Elmhurst Art Museum’s

new exhibition opens

Now through May 29, the Elmhurst Art Museum presents “Houses of Tomorrow: Solar Homes from Keck to Today.” Sponsored by DuPage Foundation, Graham Foundation, Artis Grant Program and Room & Board home furnishings.
