On Wednesday, April 20, Addison Mayor Richard Veenstra welcomed industrial business representatives to the Manufacturers Social Event at Addison Village Hall. The keynote speaker was Sarah Hartwick, vice president of education & workforce policy for the Illinois Manufacturers Association (IMA), who spoke on workforce issues across Illinois and initiatives to bring relief to manufacturers. Special Projects Coordinator Alyssa Cornelius updated the audience on new features of the Village website designed especially for Addison’s business community.
