Donald Walter Shepler, of Elmhurst, passed away recently at the age of 92. Veteran US Army during the Allied Occupation of Japan. Beloved husband of the late Rita C. Shepler (2004); Loving father of the late Donald Joseph Shepler (1975), Susan (Craig) Dovel and Jennifer (Steve) Guzman; Proud grandfather of Donald, Eric, Zachary, Sara and Gabrielle; Dear brother of the late Eileen Majewski and Dolores Mick; Loved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Friday, April 22 at the Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home, 435 N. York St. Elmhurst. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, Ill.
