Elmhurst officials stand in solidarity with Ukraine

City of Elmhurst elected officials stand in solidarity with the heroic people of Ukraine as they fight to maintain their democracy.  The City also stands in support of those who are concerned for their loved ones abroad, the millions who have been displaced, and for those grieving lives lost.

At the City Council Meeting held on Monday, March 7, Mayor Scott Levin stated, “The sovereign nation of Ukraine is under deadly attack and undergoing a devastating humanitarian crisis.  I ask that we keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Elmhurst is a compassionate, caring, generous community. I hope you will consider contributing if you are able.”

Many reputable organizations are offering relief to the Ukrainian people including those who are being displaced.  Below are listed some of those organizations that are in need of monetary donations to help their relief efforts.
