State Representative Deanne Mazzochi (R-Elmhurst) is hosting local experts to present information on the latest with COVID-19 and how we can move beyond it. The online webinar will take place via zoom on February 17th at 6pm.
“COVID is going to become a part of everyday life,” Rep. Mazzochi said. “I want to arm people with knowledge to help people return to a sense of normalcy.”
Rep. Mazzochi will be joined by immunologist Dr. Mia Taormina, Kurt Jose, CEO of IndiviDx labs, DuPage County Public Health Emergency Response Supervisor Kristen Lundeen, and Dr. Rashmi Chugh, also of the DuPage County Health Department. The panel will discuss effective COVID-19 tests and test practices, the latest COVID-19 information including treatments and their availability. Rep. Mazzochi will also discuss the latest in state policy. Together they will answer any and all questions participants have about COVID-19.
“This info session is more important than ever as parents and others have concerns with changing mandates, especially in schools, and proposed legislation in Springfield,” Rep Mazzochi continued. “I’ll address all these concerns and any misinformation that may be out there.”
