Frances Decker joins CBE Board of Directors

Frances “Franny” Decker of Elmhurst was recently elected to the Board of Directors at the Community Bank of Elmhurst.  Decker, an Elmhurst native, graduated from York High School and the University of Illinois.  She currently is in the Human Resources department at Gonnella Baking Company in Schaumburg. She has held positions with the Illinois Opportunity Project and Decker Consulting Services.  Earlier in her career she served as a Staff Associate with the Committee on International Relations in the U. S. House of Representatives.  Locally, Decker is a Commissioner on the City of Elmhurst’s Economic Development Commission and on the PTA Fundraising Committee for Hawthorne Elementary School.

“Franny Decker is an impressive woman with an outstanding professional background and deep Elmhurst roots.  She knows our CBE community and we are delighted to have her join our CBE Board,” said Rich Reichert, president & CEO of CBE. “She joins us as we approach our 30th anniversary in Elmhurst and will add new insights and knowledge to our already distinguished Board.”

Decker was elected on Friday, Feb. 18, and joins George F. Hammersmith, Jr., Chairman, Rich Reichert, president and CEO, Ken Bartels, Josh Bretl, Dr. Lawrence Carroll, Martha Hammersmith-Delgado and Maryann Gorski as Board members.
