Diana Rose Pagacz

The fearless, original, and beautiful Diana Rose Pagacz, passed away of natural causes, Wednesday, the 22nd of December, 2021. Loving daughter of Charles W. Wozniak and Eola Josephine Anderson of Villa Park, IL. Survived by her beloved husband and partner of 35 years, Claude Paul Pagacz, and preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Bennett. Diana was a passionate Founding Member of Taylor’s Battery Company B Civil War Reenactors, an avid gardener (Heirloom tomatoes being her specialty), and passionate animal lover and caretaker. Over the course of a long waitressing career, she became everyone’s favorite waitress and was always asked for by name. Diana had a style all her own. For as long as spring turns to summer, and Heirloom tomatoes continue to ripen, there will never be another Diana Pagacz. Her signature laugh and unmistakable boldness will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by those of us lucky enough to have known her. Diana lives on in our hearts, as a one of a kind, first to laugh, truly radiant soul. Private services were held in her honor, Wednesday, Dec. 29 at Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – The Ahlgrim Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the non-profit Animal Rescue Foundation in Wheaton.  Info: 630-834-3515 or www.elmhurstfh.com.
