The Lombard Police Department joined the Lombard Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association for the Shop With a Cop event on Saturday, Dec. 4. Police officers and members of the alumni association took several children to the Lombard Target store to shop for holiday gifts for the children’s families. The group then headed to Lombard Village Hall, where the kids were able to meet Lombard’s police K-9—Thor—along with Santa Claus, before enjoying lunch and heading home.
