A large crowd attended Villa Park’s Joyful Traditions celebration on Saturday, Dec. 4, near the Rugaard Gazebo. Santa Claus and Villa Park Village President Nick Cuzzone received an escort to the community gathering from the Villa Park Fire Department. They arrived in Engine 81 at about 5 p.m. Santa then headed to the gazebo to meet with children and pose for photos. One photo shows Villa Park siblings Alyssa and Adam Knoll (ages 5 and 3) with Santa. Another photo shows members of the Willowbrook High School Choir singing holiday carols. The typical in-person Joyful Traditions event was canceled last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Joyful Traditions is co-sponsored by the Village of Villa Park and the Villa Park Chamber of Commerce.
