Francis H “Frank” Chmura passed away recently at the age of 89. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Beloved husband of the late Carole nee Luce. Loving father of Lisa (Trace) Lippmann, Teresa Chmura and Felicia Niemann. Cherished grandpa of Sydnee (Matthew) Saporito, Ashley, Jennifer and Michael Niemann. Dear brother of Ignatius “Iggy” (the late Darlene) Chmura. Proceeded in death by 11 siblings. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Frank lived the majority of his life in Elmhurst. He was an avid gardener who took pride in his roses. Frank was a kind, quiet and selfless man who was devoted to his family. “Because that’s the kind of guy he was.” Interment private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
