Glenbard East High School’s 2021 prom took place at the school on Saturday, May 15. Because of various safety mitigations, this year’s prom was for Glenbard East seniors only, with no outside guests allowed. Before going to the prom, some students visited Lilacia Park to pose for photos. Pictured left to right in the above photo are: Cassie Schweikle, Amber Corrigan, Julia Slusher, Michael Sicilia, Hayley Zondor, Jason Cousineau, Julie Berg, John Sichz, Heather Cox and Cheyenne Koeppen. All of the pictured students are seniors, with the exception of John Sichz, who is a junior. He visited the park for pre-prom photos, but was unable to attend the prom. Glenbard East’s Class of 2021 will celebrate its commencement on Saturday, May 22, in the school’s stadium. There will be two ceremonies. The service for graduates with last names starting with the letters A-L will begin at 10 a.m. The ceremony for graduates with last names starting with the letters M-Z will start at 1 p.m.
